Engage the Bible personally.
For the learner like me, is it possible?
This active interaction with God’s Love-Letter is crucial for every believer to learn to personally reunite truth to their own life.
I have met thousands of Christians who are stuck on their Christian journey. They have never learned to feed themselves from God’s Word. Long ago they abandoned hope to ever understand the Bible for themselves, settling for being spoon fed by others.
I also have friends who teach such a complicated and detailed style of learning that in time it collapses under its own weight. After a while, all but the super-achiever students give up, again settling for less than God’s highest and best.
What if I could come alongside you…
….to coach you toward personal discovery in the Book-of-Books so it comes alive for you?
Would you be game?
My aim is to coach lifelong life-learners and doers to study God’s Love-Letter in a way that impacts our whole person. God places this yearning in every one of His people. I wonder if you feel that first blush of hope within.
I have a dream! That one day words associated with learning the Bible will sound like this: “pleasant,” “joyful,” “great hobby,” “exciting,” “lifelong passion” “absorbing.” That’s why I write these “sprints.”
“Deliberate practice” moves this from a hope or a dream to individual Reality. How much time and effort are you willing to invest to grow in your Christian life, especially under the watchful eye of an experienced coach, even if by distance learning?
Why not us?
Why not now?
It’s as simple as one, two, three!
Choose your level, especially with others.
The “Meet JESUS…” (link)series requires no preparation prior to the group time. This is based on the Discovery Bible Study (DBS) method, and cultivates a group culture or “soil” conducive to multiplying disciples and faith-communities.
The eight “LifeChange Companion” (link) and the studies to deepen beyond (link) requires a bit higher level of commitment and pre-preparation to engage the Bible, although still minutes per day. This is based on the Discovery in Doing (DID) method. This builds upon the skills and learning “soil” in Meet Jesus…,” requiring preparation prior to the group meeting to maximize growth.
The “4 I’s for Insight” (link) approach adds more effort so you learn to engage this Book-of-Books, the Bible, more deeply. There are no prepared series for this, since these tools and perspective provide an approach to any book of the Bible. This is a great additional step to add to Level TWO Bible Study.
Select which is next for you!
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for
training in righteousness,
so that the man of God may be
for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
